The Creative Clever Beautiful Bucket List

I wrote my first bucket list when I was around eight-years-old. Strangely enough, many of the items on my original list are still the same or similar to some of the things I put on this one.

After my twentieth birthday passing in June, I started thinking more and more about what I really want to do with my life. I'm headed on my path to becoming an occupational therapist, physiotherapist or speech-language pathologist, so I've finally had some luck with career ideas and decisions. Now that I have plan made, I have time to think about other things I want to do in my life.

Matt and I spent this summer trying our best to do a bunch of fun stuff while we have the chance. Matt will be starting his coop for school in January, and it's eight months long. This summer was the last summer he was going to have off school. We didn't have time to sit around and do nothing, because we're not going to have time to do more of the fun things later on. We may only be twenty now, but if we wait until we're done school, then it's going to be until we have careers, have a house, have kids, and who knows what else!

There was no more planning for the future and when something might happen. It was time to figure out what we want to do, and get up and do it.

And, that was when it hit me. I needed a bucket list. A tangible, updated, 20-something-year-old-me bucket list.

I started working on it right after that, and I've been working on updating the blog to include it since then. It's been just little pieces at a time, between school, work and being out there actually doing some of these things. It's finally time now for me to share it with you. I'm going to add and check off items as we go along, and I'll be able to link the stories of those we've successfully completed too!

I think everyone should have a bucket list. I know I for one am tired of sitting around dreaming about the things I want to do one day, and instead I'm working on making them happen now, and you should too. Life isn't here for us to play it safe until it's over, because that's when you realize that you wish you would have done the things you were too concerned about perfecting to actually do them.

Without further ado, you can read my bucket list below! I've decided to organize it into different sections, but I will show overall numbering. And, I'm going to try to update every time I've completed an item, but by the time I'm publishing this, I've already got a few started or completed.
